Coronavirus: Customer Information

Updated 22nd June 2020

The Riding Centre has reopened on a limited basis (pre-bookings only), although the rest of the activity centre remains closed due to Government restrictions. We hope to be back open fully as soon as we can, and will provide updates on this website and our Facebook pages as information becomes available.

We are operating with limited staff, so it may take us a little longer to answer any enquiries. Before contacting us, please check this page as your query may already be answered below. For all other enquiries, please get in touch using the contact for on this page, by emailing [email protected] or by calling 01874 658 272. Please note: calls are currently being diverted to an answering service, please leave a message and we’ll return your call as soon as we can.

We would like to thank all our customers for their continued support at this difficult time, and we are looking forward to welcoming you all back soon!

Are you open?

We are now accepting riding bookings on a limited basis – see below for further information. The rest of the activity centre, cafe and our accommodation is currently closed due to Coronavirus restrictions. Further details about reopening will be published on our website and Facebook pages as information becomes available.

Is the Riding Centre open?

Following the easing of lockdown measures by the Welsh Government, we are pleased to announce the limited reopening of the Riding Centre from Friday 26th June 2020. This will be for existing customers with some riding experience to start.

Following Welsh Government guidance, we will only be taking bookings for one-to-one private lessons/rides or groups from the same household. We will review this as and when restrictions are relaxed further, with updates posted to our website and Facebook page.

All bookings must be made in advance. Please contact us by email to make a booking.

Clients are reminded current Welsh Government advice is that travel to the Centre should be ‘local’. We understand that the Welsh Government intends to lift this restriction on 6th July.

To prioritise both the safety of our staff, and your own safety, we ask that all clients respect the measures we have put in place to prevent the spread of coronavirus. Details of the safety measures can be found here.

Are you taking bookings?

Due to Welsh Government restrictions, we are not able to honour any bookings for activities or accommodation up to and including 9th July 2020. If you have a booking with us during this period, we will contact you to discuss rebooking. We are currently assessing how we can safely reopen parts of the centre on a limited basis in line with the latest Government advice. If you would like to make a provisional booking for 13th July 2020 onwards, please get in touch. Further information will be published on our website and Facebook pages in due course.

I have a general enquiry

We are still answering all customer enquiries, although it may take us longer than usual to get back to you as we are operating with limited staff. If you have any questions or require further information about our activities, please email us at [email protected]. Alternatively, phone us on 01874 658 272 – if you reach an answerphone, please leave a message and we’ll return your call as soon as we can.

I have a future booking, will you be open?

Due to Welsh Government restrictions, we are not able to honour any bookings up to and including 9th July 2020. If you have a booking with us during this period, we will contact you to discuss rebooking. Details of the next Welsh Government review will be published on 10th July 2020, and we will update our website in light of any new information published. If you would like to contact us in the meantime, please get in touch.

Gift vouchers

All unused gift vouchers that expire on or after 21st March 2020 will be valid for bookings made up to six months after the centre substantially reopens to the public. We will publish further information on our website once the centre reopens.

Weekly Riding Lessons

We are now offering one-to-one private lessons, or group lessons from the same household, for existing Riding Centre customers. Any prepayments for weekly riding lessons due to take place on or after 21st March 2020 can be credited to bookings for private lessons, or carried forward to future weekly riding lessons when they resume.

Weekly Climbing Clubs

The climbing centre is currently unable to open due to Government restrictions. We will look to reopen the climbing centre and restart weekly climbing clubs as soon as it is safe to do so and Government restrictions allow. Any prepayments for weekly clubs due to take place on or after 21st March 2020 will be carried forward to future sessions when the centre reopens. Further information will be published on our website and Facebook pages in due course.

Climbing Centre Members

Monthly Membership customers

Billing of monthly memberships has been suspended whilst the centre is closed. Once the climbing centre reopens, all monthly memberships active as of 21st March 2020 will resume and your next monthly invoice adjusted pro-rata to reflect the period that the centre was closed. We will contact all monthly members when the centre reopens with further information. If you wish to cancel your monthly membership in the meantime, please contact us.

Punch Cards

Punch Cards do not expire, and any balance as of 21st March 2020 will be available for you to use when the centre reopens.

Please note: Due to the coronavirus pandemic, we are currently operating with reduced staff. Please email all enquiries where possible. Our phone lines are currently diverting to an answering service – if you need to speak to someone, please leave a message and we will return your call within office hours. Thank you.
