We are pleased to announce the recent opening of our brand new Cafe!
Base Camp Cafe is bright, colourful and spacious and can be found just off the balcony in the climbing centre. We are also lucky enough to have a spacious balcony seating 24 with stunning panoramic views across Llangorse Lake to the peaks of the Brecon Beacons in the distance.
The Cafe is open to everyone, whether you are a member, camping, or staying with us in one of our on-site bunkhouses, taking part in one of our activities or just passing by and in need of a refreshing cup of tea and slice of cake!
We can offer a variety of meals from a Full Cooked Breakfast to Light Meals and Sandwiches - not forgetting our range of delicious local homemade Cakes and Pies!
We're open from 9am until the centre closes at approximately 10pm (5pm on Sundays).
We've always got the coffee on, so go on, pop in and pay us a visit!

Lunchtime & Evening Meals
Selection of Sandwiches & Baguettes served with garnish and crisps
Soup of the day with crusty Roll & butter
Jacket Potatoes with a selection of fillings and side garnish
Lasagne with Garlic Ciabatta and garnish (meat or Veg option)
½ Rack of BBQ pork ribs with garnish
Chicken Ciabatta: Cajun chicken, melted cheese and bacon. Served with garnish
Scampi and chips served in a basket
100% 6oz Aberdeen Angus Beef Burger (or with cheese) served in a bun with side relish.
BaseCamp Burger: As above with Lettuce, Tomato, Melted Cheese, Bacon, Red Onions and relish served with a garnish.
Portion of Chips (ask for cheesy chips or Coleslaw)
Mini Breaded Chicken Breast chicken fillets served with chips (childs portion available)
Mixed Meat Salad: Selection of meats with salad, coleslaw, pickled onion, crisps and half warm baguette.
